I understand why Lord Mesa called this piece “The Breakfast Bang” (what with the show being called The Big Bang Theory and all) but I have to admit I expected it to be a dirtier portrait of the cast…

It’s Disney Wednesday!

When I learned that David Gilson created over 50 chibi portraits of classic Disney characters, I decided we’d have a big ol’ infusion of cute into Wednesdays for a while.

Themes of previous weeks have been: Animals, Princes and Princesses, and Obscure Classics.

Sadly, this will be my last themed group post, so if you missed a favourite character or movie, be sure to check out his gallery on your own.

It’s Disney Wednesday!

Let’s start the day with some adorable. David Gilson has created over 50 chibi portraits of classic Disney characters and while I’ll likely end up posting them all eventually, even I can’t take that much preciousness in one sitting.

So I thought I’d post them in themed groups. This week: ANIMALS!

These are WAY too cute. Jeffrey Cruz’s chibi versions of Samus and Master Chief are yet more designs I want on a t-shirt.

Speaking of Samus and Master Chief together…if you are a fan of one or both of these ass-kickers and you haven’t watched Monty Oum’s incredible video Haloid, then YOU are missing out.

How adorable are these chibi portraits by AuroreBlackCat? I love the little details thrown into these deceptively-simple drawings, like Ron’s broken wand.
