Kevin Wada and fellow illustrator and friend, Max Wittert, decided to do a fashionista take on characters from X-Men to sell at APE 2011 and created a fantastic series of prints.
Let me make two things clear:
1) I. FUCKING. LOVE. ALL. OF. THIS.
2) This is Part 5 of 5 posts today.
Featured above: Rogue, Ms. Marvel, Emma Frost, Polaris, Storm, Psylocke, and Sage.

It’s Comic Book Sunday!
I suppose winter just isn’t ever all that cold in the Marvel universe, considering that when female superheros and villains do cover up they often still fail to cover their stomachs or their cleavage.
For those about to point out fully-body suited Marvel females, trust me when I say no fabric that skintight keeps a girl warm.
And I thought I was vain.
Vain or not, I love Simon Eckert’s voluptuous depiction of Emma Frost.

Marcio Takara’s wonderful depiction of the X-Men is the best bouquet I could ever receive. I love the details and the clean lines!

Call this a nod to all those girls whoring themselves up for Hallowe’en this weekend.
Cedric Poulat painted this piece to demonstrate how much he prefers Jean Grey over Emma Frost.
Obviously. What? Isn’t that clearly the intent of this picture?

Jason Mclellan painted this exquisite alt art of Emma Frost and Cyclops, a pairing in the X-Men universe(s) that was fairly doomed thanks to Scott’s inability to get over Jean Grey and Emma’s inability to not be manipulative and cynical.

Steampunk is another one of those irresistible lures for me. And sexy, steampunk renditions of super ladies? I’m so sold.

Michael Dooney’s art is such an orgasm for me.

I think this rendition of Marvel’s Emma Frost by John Tyler Christopher is super because it emphasizes a fair amount about the White Queen’s personality:
Her powers are mental and she’s an arrogant bitch, so she has no qualms about revealing her body.
She probably hears enough of men’s thought processes to know that dressing like a stripper makes for a great distraction in a confrontation.
