Since Game of Thrones has returned to the airwaves, I thought I’d share that Laur Uy has fabulously illustrated the House of Stark.

Adam Masterman’s gallery is full of paintings with amazing perspectives like this one, in which Harry Potter is depicted peering at the Sword of Gryffindor through the surface of the frozen lake where Snape hid it.

Mandi Johnson Grant painted this dramatic scene from A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin: the lovely Daenerys and her newborn dragons. With fire.

I present an ink test that Aidosaur “did of Daenerys a while back while prepping to ink a comic. It’s a mystery over why hadn’t I drawn her yet, it’s almost as though dragons aren’t the coolest and best things.”

This would make one hell of a tattoo, wouldn’t it?

Phobs sketched Sandor and Joffrey from George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series because he was attracted to the contrast they made. And I must agree that it is great.

René Aigner has an entire gallery of gorgeous alt art for A Song of Ice and Fire (better known as Game of Thrones thanks to the show) but this painting of Daenerys Stormborn riding to war was my favourite.

The series focuses on the surreal adventures undertaken by two best friends, Finn the human boy and Jake the dog with magical powers, that dwell in the Land of Ooo.

The series is based on a short produced for Frederator’s Nickelodeon animation incubator series Random! Cartoons. After the short became a viral hit on the Internet, Cartoon Network picked it up for a full-length series.
