And it’s nearly Hallowe’en, my favourite holiday! What better way to celebrate than with Isabelle M.’s Seasons of Burton?

“Jack and Sally got the fall because even though Nightmare Before Christmas is kinda a Christmas movie, these guys are residents of Halloween town.

Edward Scissorhands gets the winter spot, for having poetic snow drops.

Alice and the Cheshire Cat get to frolic in spring because of all the beautiful green in the movie.

Finally, Lydia and Beetlejuice get summer, because Beetlejuice always felt like a summer movie to me. Everything looks warm and it kinda starts with people dying on their vacation.”
